Beautiful Morning

It was a beautiful morning.

The Cultipacker had ended its job and lay waiting for the sun to brighten its day.

The dove sat motionless, relishing the warmth of the approaching sun.

The sun played peek-a-boo with this tree.

I often wonder what is happening behind so many walls of so many big buildings. Of course, we see dimly as through a fog.

The old school house stands as a monument to encourage us that though many things have changed, many things are still the same: like endurance, persistence, and rest.

Oh, to be a meandering stream running shamelessly through green fields and past stately houses and strong barns!

I have always thought that farm buildings snuggled up against hills offer some kind of security. Like going to bed on cold winter nights and tucking the comforter up to my chin!

I guess I will have to go now. The lane might be long but I will be home long before I get to the house.
